David Beckham, the famous footballer of England, waited for thirteen hours in a queue on Friday to pay last respects to Late Queen Elizabeth II as she continues to lie in state at Westminster Hall.
The football superstar said that he grew up a huge “fan of the royal family,” which is why he wanted to pay tribute to the Queen while her coffin sat in Westminster Hall.
The Queen’s coffin was brought to Westminster hall on Wednesday. Britain’s Monarch passed away at the age of 96 when she was in Balmoral castle.
Britain’s famous footballer said, “I thought by coming at 2 am, it would be a little quieter. I was wrong,” he said. “Everybody had that in mind.”

The funeral ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II will be held at Westminster Abbey, which has the capacity of around 2,200 people.
