Europe: As per the new rules, the EU Companies will now have to disclose information regarding the salaries of the employees. The rules have been provisionally agreed upon, with an aim to ensure equality in remuneration of male and female employees and minimise the gender pay gap. With this act, the workers of an organisation will have the right to information on pay in their respective categories of work. 

Castries, Saint Lucia: Saint Lucia has announced new reforms in its existing Citizenship by Investment Programme(CIP) for the upcoming year. To enlist, these changes include a reduction in investment amount for real estate, due diligence for a developer who will be applying under real estate and others, which will come into effect from January 1, 2023 onwards.

Castries, Saint Lucia: The Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Philip J. Pierre has headed to Barbados for an official visit on December 29, 2022. During his visit, PM Pierre will be meeting H.E Linda S. Taglialatela, the United States Ambassador to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, along with the officials of the Regional Security System(RSS) to discuss the potential opportunities that may provide additional support and required assistance to the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force(RSLPF).

United Kingdom: As a part of extended support for war-stricken Ukraine, the United Kingdom will be providing the Ukrainian Armed forces with the British Sea King Helicopters. As the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defence reported, ten crews of the Ukrainian Armed Forces recently conducted training on the British Sea King Helicopters.
