Christopher Dawson, Popularly known as Secret Santa of the United Kingdom, recently shared a Facebook update about his visit to Springbank Nursing Home.
Secret Santa is on his tour to visit various schools, old age homes and nursing homes across the United Kingdom during this festive season.
Secret Santa is known for sharing his strong point of view on his Facebook account.
While sharing his experience of visiting Springbank Nursing Home, Secret Santa wrote:-
What a wonderful visit to everyone at Springbank Nursing Home…so many new memories. Staff tears with some residents show Santa how much the staff care for the residents. I made many new memories…
I went in to see one wonderful lady, and she said, ‘can you bring my husband back to me?’ I always explained that this rests with the big guy upstairs but then explained that he is always with her, and as long as she can see his face and hear his voice, he is never really far away.
She took great solace in this. Then I said, ‘he did have an incredible smile, and laugh didn’t he?’ She pointed to a huge portrait of him on the wall, which I hadn’t seen. And there he was, laughing with a huge smile. I said, ‘Santa knows…’ We hugged, and she cried and said, ‘I feel so much better now, knowing he is still with me.’
Recently Secret Santa shared an update that during this festive season, he will be visiting all the school campuses across South Wales.
While sharing his experience visiting Asda Pentwyn, he wrote:-
LOVED MY VISIT TO ASDA PENTWYN…today was wonderful. A school visit spreads Christmas cheer and shares Christmas and Santa’s magic. I drove in Sleigh 3, met my Asda friend Holly (wonderful name) at the door, and walked into so many smiling and cheery faces.
Funny how what can seem like a huge chore with queues and waiting can all disappear in a heartbeat when Santa arrives wishing a Merry Christmas.
