The new British Monarch, King Charles III Coronation ceremony is set to be held in June next year.
One of the UK-based publications quoted that the new King of the United Kingdom, King Charles III, will be officially crowned in Westminster Abbey.
It is also said that the coronation ceremony of King Charles III will be much smaller than the coronation ceremony of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on September 8 in Balmoral.
Soon after the demise of the longest-serving Monarch of Britain, Queen Elizabeth II, her elder son Prince Charles carried over the throne and was officially proclaimed the new Monarch of Britain.
The Royal Family’s mourning period ended ten days after Queen’s death. The whole family wore black clothes during the mourning.
However, the whole family has returned to their official duties. King Charles III has started commanding as a King and is in full swing at Buckingham palace, but his coronation ceremony is yet said to be done in June 2023.
Charles III’s reign will officially begin in June 2023. Along with him, his wife Camilla will also become the official Queen of Consort.
In June 2023, after his coronation, King Charles III will become the oldest monarch in British history to hold his coronation ceremony at the age of 74.
As per practice, the new King, King Charles III, will sit on the throne known as Edward’s Chair (named after King Charles II in 1661) while wielding the sovereign’s sceptre, rod, or orb, symbolising the Christian world.
Charles was proclaimed as the British monarch of the UK and the Commonwealth on September 10 before he delivered a speech to the privy council.
At the time, he added, “My mother’s reign was unequalled in its duration, dedication and dedication. Even as we mourn, we give gratitude for this most faithful life. I am extremely aware of this great inheritance and sovereignty’s duties and heavy responsibilities which have now passed to me.”
