Stoke-on-Trent, Scotland: River Garden Auchincruive, a Non-profit Organisation, marked three years of a complete residency program with its staff members on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
The Residents and staff members from River Garden came together to mark and celebrate the occasion of Paul coming to the end of his three-year residency.
The River Garden Auchincruive also honoured the occasion and congratulated their resident Paul for marking three years with them.
As per the information, Paul entered the River Garden community in October 2020, aged 47, after a life controlled by addiction. He was desperate and broken, but he was determined to commit to the program and to change his life.
In an emotional speech at his three-year celebratory dinner, Paul shared how far he had come in his recovery journey and how much he has changed as a person.
He spoke of his gratitude for his fellow peers, staff, and volunteers at River Garden, who have helped him and been part of his journey.
Although Paul is no longer a resident of the River Garden, he has recently secured a job with ISG, one of the building contractors involved in the ongoing development of the River Garden site.
The River Garden Auchincruive are happy to say he will still be around the project for some time. They also congratulated Paul and wished him the best of luck for this exciting next stage of their journey.
Notably, the River Garden Auchincruive is a Non-Profit organisation working to help people of the United Kingdom and the other surrounding areas leave their unhealthy habits such as Drugs and alcohol and start fresh and transformed lives.
Previously, the River Garden Auchincruive hosted the Great Scottish Run last Sunday, October 1, 2023, to raise funds for the river garden. They also thanked their volunteers, Brian, Lauren, and Shay, for their significant contribution.
