Princess Royal, along with Sir Tim Laurence, set to take a four-day visit to Uganda with the help of several of her Customs.
Day One
Princess Royal of The United Kingdom initiated the first day by visiting the Medical Research Council (MRC), Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI) and, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), Ugandan Research Unit.Â

Princess Royal is the Chancellor of LSHTM, and its Uganda unit is a globally recognised centre of excellence.
During the four-day visit to Uganda, The Princess travelled the structures. She learnt more about the unit’s working and how things are progressing to achieve high-quality, energy-efficient research, further contributing to developing and uplifting robust and advanced healthcare policies to control infectious and non-communicable diseases.
