The Police Community Support Officer Rhys Evans from Rural Crime Team, along with Police Community Support Officer Gareth Jones, recently visited Dolgellau Livestock Market and held a quick informal meeting with the members of the Farming Community.
As per the information shared by the official Facebook page of HGC De Gwynedd / NWP Gwynedd South, the Police Community Support Officers Rhys Evans (Rural Crime Team) and Gareth Jones had a brief conversation with members of the farming community.
The Officers discussed about issues of interest to both the parties, such as rural theft around the nearby areas.

Not only this, the Police Community Support Officers Rhys Evans (Rural Crime Team) and Gareth Jones shared several guidelines during the informal meeting with the members of the farming community on how rural crime can be prevented around the area.

At the same time, they were seen quickly briefing Mr Huw Jones, Meirionnydd County Executive Officer Farmers Union of Wales and also the Gwynedd Councillor for Aberdyfi and Pennal, Mr Dewi Owen, about the prevention and other guidelines related to rural crime.
While sharing the pictures on the Facebook page HGC De Gwynedd / NWP Gwynedd South, the force added the caption informing that “Yesterday PCSO Rhys Evans from the Rural Crime Team and PCSO Gareth Jones visited Dolgellau Livestock Market to meet with members of the farming community.”
In addition, the Facebook page added, “The officers discussed issues of interest, including the recent incidents of rural theft in the area, and they also provided rural crime prevention advice.”
