British Conservative Politician and Member of Parliament in the United Kingdom Laura Farris expressed her gratitude and pleasure over the United Kingdom being the 4th largest country globally in the United Kingdom for child literacy by beating other European countries and also shared her experience of teaching her kids during the lockdown period in 2020.
British Politician and Member of Parliament Laura Farris recently took to her social media handle to express her gratitude and pleasure that the United Kingdom is in the 4th position in terms of Child literacy by beating other European Countries in the world. She added that this achievement had been down to the success of the United Kingdom’s most efficient platform for Primary education, the Phonics Educational Programme, being run by the UK government to provide students with better education since 2010.
Further, MP Laura Farris also shared her experience of teaching her children during the Lockdown period in 2020, she shared that when she was teaching her children, they found it challenging, but the efficiency and help of the Phonics Programme, it helped them to breakdown the words into building blocks and to spot the irregularities while studying, by praising the excellency skills of the Phonics Programme she shared that noose her children has made a lot of improvement and are now the most confident readers.
Furthermore, MP Laura Farris also shared her experience from her recent visit to the Fir Tree Primary School in Newbury, where she was found brimming and indulging in between the questions and ideas of reading and was seen participating actively in the reading sessions with her, post her visit, MP Laura posts the above update on her official Facebook handle and wishes the students of the Fir Tree Primary School to lead a life with forever love for books.
