Prime Minister of Saint Lucia Philip J Pierre, along with  Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire have signed a Development agreement for construction of a 345-room luxury Grand Hyatt Hotel in Sabwisha, Choiseul. The events took place on July 20TH 2022; Wednesday in the presence of PM, Deputy PM and CEO of TTS Resorts ltd , Lachezar Todorov. The project will commence in 2023 and is anticipated to be accomplished by early 2025.

After a five-year gap, the Commonwealth of Dominica successfully organized the cricket T20 international matches at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium. Back-to-back two games were held on July 2 and 3, 2022.
