They emphasised their vision and appreciated all their sponsors for marking this incredible Journey.
Reportedly, World Vision is a Charity-based Organisation working for children, communities and their supporters. The Organisation aims to help impoverished children despite their background and nationality.
It supports children caught during an emergency, Living in extreme poverty and facing abuse and exploitation.
World Vision UK highlighted that their mission remains ongoing during this International Day of the Girl. There are still many girls out there waiting for a brighter future.
They also urged people to extend their support to make a difference in their lives today.
“Let’s keep the momentum going,” they asserted.
Further, they appealed to the community to join them in changing lives one girl at a time. They also asked them to sponsor a girl today and participate in something significant.
Moreover, As every girl deserves to live a life free from rape, abuse, and violence – it’s her right. Today, on International Day of the Girl, World Vision UK also reflects on the lives of girls who have faced abuse.
They noted some stories of girls like Heda, whose abuse had begun at nine.
Though Heda, now 14, has experienced unimaginable mistreatment and cruelty, she is not bitter.
She laughs and hugs World Vision staff when they come to visit. It’s the highlight of her day, which can be long and lonely while her mum is at work.
