US: Meet 28-year-old Andrew Jones, man who lives life with artificial heart in his bag

Date:

Andrew Jones is a US citizen, and he is from Connecticut. He is a bodybuilder, and also, he is a fitness model. In 2012, Andrew Jones was diagnosed with a heart disease called cardiomyopathy. This made him weak, and he could not stand on his feet or walk.

Cardiomyopathy is a type of heart muscle disease that makes it harder for the heart to pump blood to the rest of the body. This disease can lead to heart failure. The major types of cardiomyopathy include dilated hypertrophic and restrictive cardiomyopathy.

He was later told that he needed a heart transplant or he might die. He was then given an artificial heart which he does carry inside a bag pack. The artificial heart is connected to two batteries, which allows him to retain strength. He said anytime he plugs in his phone at night, he also plugs his heart.

The bag which he carries along with him contains batteries, an electric motor as well as a pump that pushes air via tubes to power plastic chambers in his chest which pushes blood around his body.

The

fitness model hasn’t got a heart and carries an artificial heart with him at all times in his bag. The heart condition with which he was diagnosed in 2012 could have killed Andrew Jones, but he found a lifeline in an artificial heart and slowly rebuilt his strength and is now stronger than he ever thought possible. His strength, both mental and physical, is inspirational for many others battling with such health issues.

All these years, Jones has focused on his fitness and maintaining his body in a good manner so that no one could say that his life isn’t normal. He lives much healthier than the rest of the world because of his strong and healthy body.
