Wed and Prosper UK – a wedding planning company, held a Gatcombe Estate photoshoot in March and shared glimpses to show how many excellent Island suppliers were involved in the shoot. The wedding planners said that every single business made a considerable amount of effort, from sourcing products to putting up marquees and making special items just for this photoshoot.
The Calmond sisters, Carrie and Rachel, run the event management company. For them, the Isle of Wight is a special place to get married and has some extra extraordinary family businesses to help create couples’ wedding day perfect.
“We were so happy to bring them all together and show off what our gorgeous Island can offer at Gatcombe Estate- it made it extra special that we were all able to help launch a brand new wedding venue on the Isle of Wight,” added the sisters.
Wed and Prosper expressed their gratitude to all for bracing the coldest Day of the year and a very wet and windy day on top of that. “We laughed our way through, shared a shot of rum to warm our bones and carried on. We even got to celebrate international women’s Day together,” they concluded.
“We may be biased, but we think the photos turned out pretty amazing,” added the Calmond Sisters.
