UK: MP Robbie Moore hosts Foster Care Fortnight

Member of Parliament and politician of the British Conservative Party, United Kingdom, Robbie Moore, hosted the Foster Care Fortnight, to be organised from Monday, May 5, 2023, to Sunday, May 28, 2023, for the Disadvantaged children of the United Kingdom, and expressed his gratitude and pleasure for the Foster Carers who worked hard consistently to sustain the lives of the children.

Member of Parliament and Politician of the British Conservative Party, United Kingdom, Robbie Moore, took to his social media recently to share about Foster Care Fortnight, an annual campaign to shine a light on the many ways people in the fostering community support disadvantaged children across the UK to being organised in the United Kingdom from May 5, 2023, to Sunday, May 28, 2023.

MP Robbie Moore shared that the Foster Care Fortnight was a real privilege to sit down with a fantastic team of local foster carers and members of Foster for Bradford for a roundtable meeting to discuss the profound positive impact foster carers have on our children’s lives.

MP Robbie also shared some glimpses from the Foster Care Fortnight event in the form of a video. In the video, Robbie Moore highlights some significant critical points of the event and expresses the need to get people involved in Foster Care Fortnight. He also expressed his sincere gratitude to the Foster carers who worked hard to sustain the most vulnerable part of the societies, the children of the United Kingdom. The MP remarked that helping the children maintain their lives of children is one of the most rewarding jobs in itself one could ever do.

The MP Robbie Moore also thanked everyone who attended this roundtable and paid tribute to the tremendous foster carers across Keighley, Ilkley, Silsden, the Worth Valley and our wider area who selflessly opened their hearts and homes to children who need support.

He remarked that Foster carers are genuinely the truly everyday heroes, providing a nurturing and stable environment where children can thrive, grow, and heal from past experiences, and at last. He also urged people interested in getting involved in fostering to give it a go and change a child’s life today.
