UK: MP Robbie Moore feels honour to meet local business champion David Lishman at Business Champions reception


British Conservative Party Politician and Member of Parliament for Keighley in the United Kingdom, Robbie Moore, expressed his pleasure and honour to invite a local business champion, David Lishman from Lishmans of Ilkley, for a Business Champions reception with some exceptional independent businesses from across the UK.

Post his meeting, While expressing his pleasure and honour to invite a Local Business Champion, David Lishman, for a business champion meeting, Member of Parliament Robbie Moore, took to his official social media handle to support and celebrate the local independent businesses.


He also shared some glimpses from his meeting with David Lishman and other local business champions across the United Kingdom, holding various talks in a reception.

He added, “Supporting & celebrating our local independent businesses is vital. That’s why it was an absolute honour to invite David Lishman from Lishmans Of Ilkley to Downing Street to meet the Chancellor for a Business Champions reception with some exceptional independent businesses from across the UK.”

Further, MP Robbie highlighted some other achievements of Lishman’s of Ilkley and shared that Lishman’s of Ilkley are award-winning butchers and a fantastic charcuterie offering.

Furthermore, MP Robbie also shared that Lishman’s commitment to sustainable sourcing has earned them a stellar reputation for over three decades. In recognition of their exceptional products, David, Emma and the whole Lishman team were recently awarded the esteemed Diamond Award during the Smithfield Awards ceremony at Butchers’ Hall in London.

At last, MP Robbie, while expressing his pleasure over meeting with David and other Lishman Team, shared that It is fantastic to have such a brilliant ambassador of Yorkshire’s rich food heritage right here in Ilkley and a pleasure to invite Lishman to Downing Street.
