British Conservative Party Politician and Member of Parliament for the Keighley Constituency in the United Kingdom, Robbie Moore, was delighted to visit Keighley Carnival recently. He extended his pleasure and thanked all the volunteers for organising it.

While extending his pleasure, the Member of Parliament for Keighley, Robbie Moore, said, “Huge well done to all who have been involved in organising our very own Keighley Carnival. It was brilliant to be invited along to take part in a fantastic event.”

Reportedly, The Keighley Carnival event was originally due to be held last year but was cancelled out of respect following the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

This year, the long-awaited Keighley Carnival was put on with great style. The Greatest Showman theme was chosen for the carnival – to promote the critical theme of inclusiveness across the town.

Further, MP Robbie also highlighted the performances from band BD1 Brass, BOLT Academy, Hot Aire, Hit the Lights, and Nigel Passey – amongst many others.

He was impressed by the work the organisers have put into organising the event and appreciated all the volunteers for doing a fantastic job.

“Patrick McDonnell, founder and director of Living Lights and former chair of Keighley Carnival, along with the rest of the committee; Liz McDonnell, Irena Harrison, Deanne & Darren Church of Marshalls Funfair, Dave McLean, and David & Janette Jones, plus all the volunteers did a fantastic job,” he added.

“Well done to all involved – including some of our fantastic local independent businesses who had stalls supporting the event,” MP Robbie further added.

In conclusion, he announced that there would be magicians and clowns on stage from 12.30 pm on Sunday, and people will have the chance to learn circus skills – Plus, there will be a fair, market stalls and other attractions. He also urged the audience to please come to Victoria Park for support.
