British Conservative Party Politician and Member of Parliament in the United Kingdom, Priti Patel, expressed her pleasure and gratitude for visiting several schools and businesses to discuss a range of issues affecting them and to be able to work for their upliftment at the ground level.
British Conservative Party Politician and Member of Parliament in the United Kingdom, Priti Patel, took to her social media recently to share some updates from May, which has been already marked as historic and celebratory of the Coronation of King Charles. MP Priti Patel also expressed pleasure in visiting several local schools and businesses to discuss various issues affecting them.
As per the Update, This month, May 2023, MP Priti Patel visited four more local schools as part of her Get Witham Growing initiative, which is aimed at helping children develop their horticultural skills. She has held discussions with the Environment Agency East of Anglia to discuss the current plans for the River Blackwater Flood Alleviation Scheme and local flooding issues across the constituency and also Teamed up with the National Farmers Union to visit Wicks Manor Farm in Tolleshunt Major, Whiteheads Farm in Witham and Hill House Farm in Feering. She has discussed various farming and horticultural issues with farms affecting the agricultural sector.
She also welcomed the DWP Minister for Disabled People, Health & Work to Chatten Free School in Witham to meet with them and discuss their plans to help support children with SEN into employment after leaving school. Further, she also visited Lauriston Farm to see their excellent work in providing day placements for people with learning or physical disabilities.
Furthermore, She also expressed her pleasure to be invited to Copford School to officially open their new state-of-the-art classroom, which will transform facilities at the school.
