MP Priti Patel, after being awarded a Damehood (DBE) for her consistent work and efforts to serve the lives of people of her constituency and as a Home Secretary, extended her heartfelt feelings and pleasure for being recognised for her work shared a post on her social media handle quoted “It has been the honour of my life to serve as the Member of Parliament for Witham for the last 13 years and in Government as Home Secretary.”
Further, she also added that “I have always believed in the importance of public service, and it has been a privilege to deliver on our commitments to make our country safer by backing our police with new investment and laws, reforming our immigration and asylum system, and fighting terrorism”.
