While expressing the need for help and support, MP Antony reached out to his social media handle to share an update about hiring a new full-time constituency Assistant to help and support him at his work in the Burnley office.

The following are the criteria to apply for constituency Assistant in Burnley:

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
One will play a vital role in supporting the MP’s mission to serve the people of Burnley and Padiham. Responsibilities will include responding to queries from members of the public, logging all communications and providing general day-to-day administrative support.
Ultimately he’ll be helping him deliver on his priorities for Burnley & Padiham, making sure people’s voices are heard and their concerns are addressed promptly.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to balance multiple projects and be willing to roll up their sleeves and help the wider team wherever necessary.

Key attributes will include political awareness and judgement; excellent written and oral communication skills, with an attention to detail; strong IT skills; a confident, proactive, and positive approach; an ability to engage with the public, including those who are agitated or in vulnerable situations; team player; and, sympathetic to the aims and values of the Conservative and Unionist Party.
