On Wednesday afternoon, the coffin of the late Monarch will be embellished with the imperial state of the crown. The casket will be carried on a gun carriage of the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery and make its way from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall.
The Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) warned people that please do not wait or camp in advance of the processional day. If people are planning to camp before the official day, People may be asked to move on.
New Monarch, King Charles III, members of the royal family, along with the senior staff of the late Queen, will stroll behind the coffin without any music. This walk will take 38 minutes.
The formal parade will move along the Mall, down Horse Guards Road and across Horse Guards Parade, onto Whitehall and into the Palace of Westminster.
DCMS said that the route with a limited capacity would open at 11 am on the day, with people welcomed in order of arrival time amid expected large queues.
If a person leaves the area, they are not allowed to reenter the site again.
Tents, gazebos or camping gear, barbecues, fire equipment, and alcohol are restricted. Grievers must keep noise to a minimum when the parade passes them and have been told to act suitably, dispose of litter properly, and follow the instructions of police and stewards or face being asked to leave.
On Thursday, Buckingham palace announced that the Queen had passed away peacefully in the afternoon at Balmoral.
Soon after the death of the Monarch, her elder son Prince Charles took over the Throne and was officially proclaimed King Charles III of Britain.
