Liz Truss will take the oath today as the UK’s next Prime Minister. Liz will appoint her Cabinet with no white man in great state offices for the first time.

Liz Truss will take the oath as the next UK Prime Minister on Tuesday after defeating Rishi Sunak in the Conservative leadership contest.

After Margaret Thatcher and Theresa May, Liz Truss will be the third woman Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. At the same time, the key Cabinet will not see the White man for the first time this year.

On Monday, Liz Truss defeated the opponent Rishi Sunak with around 81,326 votes to 60,399 votes. Liz truss was announced as the newly elected leader of the Conservative party and will take oath today in Scotland.

The portfolios of the cabinet ministers are expected to be announced on Tuesday evening. Whereas this year, for the first time in the history of Britain, no white man will be there in the office.

As per the information, the Newly elected Prime Minister of the UK, Liz Truss, will appoint James Cleverly as foreign secretary, Suella Braverman as home secretary and Kwasi Kwarteng as chancellor.

The expected positions were greeted by some ministers, including Boris Johnson’s former race adviser, Samuel Kasumu, who resigned last year after a controversial report by the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities, which critics said dismissed institutional racism.

The elected leader of the conservative party and Prime Minister of the UK will be succeeding the former PM of the UK Boris Jhonson, who was pushed to announce his resignation in July after months of scandals saw support for his administration drain away, and ministers quit to force him out.

Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson will deliver a speech outside Downing Street, then travel to Scotland to meet Queen Elizabeth at her Balmoral Castle residence to officially tender his resignation.
