While addressing the nation first after the death of the longest reigning Monarch, King Charles III declared Prince and Princess of Wales to his senior-most son William and Kate, popularly known as Catherine.
On Friday, King Charles delivered his first emotional speech after the death of his ninety-six-year-old mother. Queen Elizabeth II died peacefully at Balmoral on Thursday.
King Charles III on Friday announced the new titles of Prince William and Kate as Prince and Princess of Wales. King also expressed his love for his younger son and Duke and Duchess of Sussex Harry and Meghan, who are building their new lives overseas.
While addressing the country with an emotional speech, King Charles III said he knew he was placing his responsibilities in trusted hands. King added that he believes his son and daughter-in-law, Prince William and Kate, will continue to serve the country with dedication and lead our national conversation.
Britain’s royal family announced Mourning and Condolence arrangements for the death of the Queen Elizabeth II at the Royal Residences through their official Royal family website and social media handle.
Sharing information on their official website, the royal family states, “After the death of Her Majesty The Queen, The King’s wish that a time of Royal Mourning will be starting from the day of demise until seven days after The Monarch’s Funeral. The date of the Funeral will be announced in a few time.”

The Royal family, in an online announcement, added that the coffin would be taken by hearse from St Pancras to Buckingham Palace.
Afterwards, the coffin will be carried to the Palace of Westminster for lying in state, five days in which the public will have a chance to pay their respects.
