The Leading Charity Cancer Organisation, Ayrshire Cancer Support, is celebrating November as Cancer Awareness Month. They introduced Mary. She was diagnosed with a tumour in the left lung in April 2023. Her Tumour has been entirely removed by Keyhole surgery.
Ayrshire Cancer Support is the United Kingdom’s leading charity organisation, providing emotional and physical support to the people of Ayrshire and other surrounding communities.
Mary has undertaken her surgery and treatment with the Ayrshire Cancer Support Organisation. As Mary continued with her recovery, she also advised other people affected by Cancer.
Her advice to other people affected by Cancer would be to “Lean on the support of the specialist nurses and use the services of Ayrshire Cancer Support. It’s good to know there is support out with family who are there to help you through the difficult times.”
Mary has been visiting Ayrshire Cancer Support – “I’ve had a better outlook on life after counselling, and also benefitted from reiki sessions that helped me feel calmer and more relaxed.”
Further, the Ayrshire Cancer Support urged people, “If you are affected by Cancer and want to learn more about how we can help, drop into one of our centres or contact us for support”.
