St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew extended pleasure to inform his constituencies about the current status of the Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, International Transport, Marsha Henderson. She underwent emergency surgery, and it went successfully.
He also shared other updates about the Minister’s Health Condition and remarked on several critical points about her.
Reportedly, the Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, and International Transport, Marsha Henderson, underwent emergency surgery on Wednesday, October 3, 2023.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew, on behalf of the Government of St Kitts and Nevis and his people, extended well wishes and collective prayers to Minister Marsha. He also prayed for her swift and complete recovery.
As per Prime Minister Dr Terrance, Minister Marsha has been a dedicated public servant and a driving force behind the development and progress of the nation.
“Her health and well-being are of utmost importance to us all,” he asserted.
Further, Prime Minister Dr Terrance also requested people to respect her family and privacy during this crucial period. “While Minister Henderson is in the process of recuperation, I kindly request that we respect her privacy and that of her family during this period,” he added.
“We understand the concern and care our citizens have for her, but it is crucial that she be allowed the time and space to heal without unnecessary intrusion.” he continued.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Dr Terrance also extended his fortune to have a solid and capable team in place. He also assured the nation that the work of the Ministries she holds will continue smoothly in her absence.
“I have full confidence in the competence of our colleagues and the dedication of our public servants to ensure that the vital functions continue without disruption,” he added.
At last, the Prime Minister urged people again to keep their thoughts and prayers with Marsha as she embarks on her journey to recovery. On behalf of the nation, he also extended his collective support and well wishes to her healing and her return to her duties with renewed strength.
