St Kitts and Nevis:Â Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew extended his deep emotions over the devasting fire tragedy at Four Seasons Resort in Nevis. He spoke to the Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley and Billy Cueto and also extended his support and solidarity to the people and Government of St Kitts and Nevis.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew remarked on the beauty of the establishment, said, “This iconic establishment has always been a source of pride and beauty in our beloved Caribbean, and the news of this fire has left us all deeply saddened.”
He also spoke with the Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, and Billy Cueto, the General Manager of Four Seasons. He extended the full support and solidarity of the People and Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis.
At the same time, Prime Minister Terrance extended his relief and was grateful that no loss of life had happened. “The safety and well-being of the people at the resort are most important, and I am heartened to hear that everyone is safe,” he added.
Furthermore, In his conversation with the Premier of Nevis, Cueto, he displayed the resilience the Four Seasons Resort is known for. He assured him they would rebound and remain a beacon of luxury and hospitality in Nevis.Â
He expressed his thankfulness that it was only a section of the resort that was damaged.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Terrance personally thanked the firefighters, first responders, and all the volunteers involved for working tirelessly to contain the fire and ensure the safety of everyone at the resort. “Your dedication is commendable, and we are grateful for your service,” he asserted.
At last, The Prime Minister also shared that he would be travelling to Nevis later to witness firsthand the extent of the damage and to stand with the people of Nevis during this challenging time.
