St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew congratulated two students from the CFBC (Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College) and Nevis 6th Form College. The students have recently received laptop computers from the Liamuiga Oualie Arts Foundation based in New York City.
He had the pleasure of presenting the two students with their deserving gifts during a brief ceremony at his office on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance honoured the students and appreciated them for their remarkable academic accomplishments. He especially commended LOAF for empowering support to upgrade and invest in the youth’s success.
As per the Update, the Laptop Computer Courtesy was presented to two students, Cyanna Johnson from Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) and Delroy Prentice from the Nevis 6th Form College, by the LOAF organisation based in New York.
Johnson and Prentice were recommended for these gifts as a result of their excellent educational achievements as well as their social involvement.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance praised the students for their excellent performances. He said, “These outstanding students were chosen for this generous gift due to their exceptional academic accomplishments and active participation in their communities.”
He also recognised the LOAF Organisation’s role in advancing the student’s life and future success. “LOAF was established by fellow nationals with a vision to support promising students transitioning from public primary schools to high schools,” he shared.
Further, while marking the LOAF’s contributions, he asserted, “This is achieved through the provision of educational scholarships and fellowships at private institutions on both islands, nurturing the educational journeys of these talented individuals.”
At last, he extended his pleasure and commended LOAF for their dedication to empowering their youth and investing in their future success.
