St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew recently attended the Cayon High School Best Flash Back Ceremony. He remarked on the past teachers, Principals, and athletes’ commendable contributions. He also awarded them for making a tremendous impact.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew took to his official social media handle Yesterday (Tuesday), October 30, 2023, to honour the past teachers, principals and athletes.
He also highlighted the student’s commendable contributions to the overall development of schools. “Their dedication and contributions to the students and the overall development of the school are truly commendable,” he added.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance, along with Governor-General Dame Marcella Liburd, GCMG, JP, had the privilege of presenting the awards to those teachers who have made a tremendous impact over the years.
He extended his heartiest greetings and congratulated all the awardees.
Reportedly, the Cayon High School also extended their gratitude and pride to honour the teachers and principals. They recognised their efforts in shaping the children’s future. They also gave a massive shout-out to those teachers, Principals and athletes.
The School remarked on their dedicated and responsible educators and reminded me of their passion, commitment and unwavering student support. They also asserted that their hard work is noticeable.
“Your guidance shapes the future leaders of tomorrow, and for that, we are forever grateful. Let’s hear it for the amazing teachers who make learning an unforgettable journey,” CHS added.
Further, the honoured educators at the CHS who were awarded and honoured are Ornette Henry, Shanelle Reid, Kiesha Pieltier, Athena Prentice, Kenrick Pollock, Patricia Henry, Vernon Wilkinson, Camesh Stevens, Kharisa Simon, Denise Weekes, Kernis Akers, Junicia Caines.
The other educators, O’ Nielia Bergan, Carioca Gumbs, Justin Moses, Hanah Mills, Denzil Stepleton, Deandra Carey, etc., were also awarded and honoured by the CHS.
