Saint Lucia: ‘Miracles follow Gratitude,’ says Deputy PM Ernest Hilaire


Saint Lucia: Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia – Ernest Hilaire has extended a motivational message to the people of Saint Lucia mentioning gratitude attracts positivity and prosperity into one’s life. He reached out to his official social media handle to encourage his fellow Saint Lucians to carry a grateful heart and attitude to live a happy and worriless life.

According to the shared update, Deputy Prime Minister, Ernest Hilaire shared an inspirational quote through his Facebook post which reads, “A grateful heart is magnet for miracles.” Through his message, he pointed out that miracles follow gratitude and pure belief.


Meanwhile, he also conveyed that a person can experience great things in life both materialistically and spiritually with a grateful heart and willingness to give more than receiving to the humanity. In addition, while sharing his thoughts and believes, he wrote in his Facebook caption, “Be thankful for all the blessings you receive.”

Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information, Ernest Hilaire called the residents and citizens of Saint Lucia to inspire them to being thankful for every small or big thing in life. He explained that being thankful and expressing gratitude to even the small aspects of life may seem underrated and unworthy, but in the long run these are the traits that takes a person forward in life.

Being grateful and thankful holds a reflections of a person’s overall personality as such traits and attributes adds up to one’s character in a positive sense. It not only makes the person more compassionate towards others but also brings inner peace and satisfaction to one’s heart and soul, as per the Deputy Prime Minister, Ernest Hilaire.

Moreover, DPM Hilaire calls a grateful heart as a magnet to the miracles, which means that miracles do happen but a person should believe in them first with pure heart while being grateful for the already existing things. Hilaire further extended his remarks and urged the people of Saint Lucia to follow a positive pathway going forward full of peace and self-satisfaction for a better future.
