Saint Lucia: Ernest Hilaire launches Lucian Carnival 2023, shares schedule


The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, was delighted to share the schedule of the Lucian Carnival. The Carnival is being held from July 1 to 19, 2023.

While sharing the update, Ernest Hilaire said, “Nothing Sweeter Than That! This year’s Carnival will be one of the biggest with the return of many of our National Programs, including Kiddies Carnival, School’s Panorama and Jouvert. We will also see the return of community carnivals throughout the island.”


He added that Carnival is one of the premier cultural and creative industry activities, and one must nurture it and help it grow. The Tourism Minister outlined, “We must also make it inclusive to everyone and encourage participation island-wide”.
