Safety & Security of St Kitts & Nevis is of paramount importance: Dr Terrance Drew

Prime Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, on Tuesday, along with the Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security, Cecile Hull, held a Joint Security Meeting with the High Command of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) as well as the St Kitts and Nevis Defense Force.

It is to be mentioned that the government of St Kitts and Nevis, has shared the update among the general audience, along with the post, which is as follows, “PM Terrance Drew & Acting Permanent Secretary in Ministry of National Security, Cecile Hull has convened a Joint Security Meeting this morning with the High Command of the Royal St Christopher & Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) as well as the St Kitts and Nevis Defence Force, along with the National Security Advisor, Major General Stewart Saunders for the discussions on the recent cases of homicides in the nation.”

At the same time, PM Terrance Drew also took it to his official social media handle to share the above mentioned update, along with the post, which is as follows, “The safety and security of our nation is of paramount importance. We held a very productive Joint Security Meeting this morning with the High Command of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) and the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force, as well as the National Security Advisor, Major General Stewart Saunders to discuss the recent homicides in the Federation and the strategic plans going forward.”

Notably, during the meeting the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew along with the defence officials has held discussions on the strategic plans.

Moreover, the Government of St Kitts and Nevis is continuous on the path to work diligently for ensuring that the security agencies maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to the crime. Along with ensuring zero-tolerance approach to the growing crime, the government of St Kitts and Nevis is also working on maintaining the focus on the preservation of law and order within the Federation.
