Politician and Member of Parliament in Buckingham, Princes Risborough, Winslow and surrounding villages of the United Kingdom took to his social media recently and expressed his pleasure and gratitude for the opening of a new play area in Chearsley on Monday, May 8, 2023, afternoon.
On his social media handle, Politician and Member of Parliament Greg Smith shared that it was a great pleasure to formally cut the ribbon and open the new play area in Chearsly.
With the opening of the new play area in Chearslry, the Local children (including my own) of the area will enjoy the great new equipment for many years to come.
Greg Smith also shared that the New additions to the playground area include features such as an accessible roundabout, nest swing, trampoline and table tennis table. Greg Smith also shared that These projects don’t happen by accident and said there are many people to thank for making this a reality.
He also expressed his pleasure and especially thanked Anne Adams, who championed the idea and led the project. He shared that Keith Turnbull, interim Chairman and Treasurer of the Village Hall, has procured the funding and completed the grant applications. Parish Council Chairman Nic Brown and Vice-Chairman John Lewis have also helped to support the project.
At last, Greg Smith also expressed his pleasure to the Buckinghamshire Council, the FCC Communities Foundation, The Bernard Sunley Foundation, the Heart of Bucks Community Foundation, the Chearsley Parish Council and the Chearsley Village Hall Committee and shared that these are also Equally responsible for the opening of the play area in Chearslley to serve the local children of the neighbouring regions and hugely thanked them for their kind efforts and hard work.
