PM Philip J Pierre announces procurement of new fleet of vehicles for RSLPF

Castries, Saint Lucia: Prime Minister Philip J Pierre announced that the government of Saint Lucia had procured a new fleet of vehicles, inclusive of trucks, SUVs and bicycles, to enable the Police to serve better and protect the citizens of the community.

Prime Minister of Saint Lucia- Philip J Pierre, took to Facebook and announced the procurement of the new fleet of vehicles. He stated that safety and security are the basic rights of the citizens of Saint Lucia, and the government is committed to ensuring public safety.

Moving on the path, the government has taken several steps and launched initiatives to mitigate the elements that can create chaos and the disturbing situation in Saint Lucia. PM Philip J Pierre said that the government pledged to support the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force in their efforts to combat the violent elements of the country.

He asserted that his continued support for the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is a testament to his commitment to public safety and his appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our law enforcement officers.

While reminding people to extend support to the Police, PM Philip J Pierre added that it is also a reminder of the importance of supporting the Police and providing them with the resources they need to do their job.

“We look forward to seeing the new vehicles in action and the positive impact they will have on our communities,” said the prime minister.

While appreciating the prime minister for his efforts, the citizens of Saint Lucia took to the comment section of his Facebook. One of the users, named Felix Moses, said, “Thanks Mr Prime Minister…that’s remarkable. Hope the Police will put them to good use to serve the nation.”

Another named Jacinta Bakie added, “I salute you, Mr. Prime Minister the security of our people is to priority yes, putting people first good job Sir.”

In order to strengthen the police force of Saint Lucia, PM Philip J Pierre asked them to redouble their efforts to ensure that the streets are secure and that they can go about their daily lives without fear. He also made a decision to request the assistance of the RSS to support the ongoing work of their local law enforcement officers.
