Paris: Murder inquiry to be launched after 12-year-old girl found dead in Suitcase

The police of Paris have launched a murder investigation after the twelve-year-old girl was found dead in a suitcase outside her home in north-east Paris.

A 12-year-old little girl Lola Daviet was believed to be raped and tortured before she was murdered.

Two suspects were a twenty-four-year-old homeless woman and a Forty-three-year-old man who appeared in court before the judge in Paris on Monday.

Police were repeatedly questioning two other people. An official investigation was opened at the weekend for “rape committed with acts of torture and barbarism” and for “the concealing of a corpse”.

The primary suspect of the crime was caught on CCTV; in the video, it was clear that the suspect was following Lola into the apartment building where the girl lived.

Around 3.30 pm on Friday, a few minutes after she left school. Local people around the crime area later saw the woman pushing a sizeable plastic suitcase around the area.

The Suitcase with a twelve-year-old teenager was kept not far away from the building where Lola used to live with their parents.

A homeless man found the Suitcase on Friday; An postmortem carried out on Saturday revealed several wounds on the throat; the public prosecutor’s office reported that the girl had been strangled.

The Father of twelve-year-old Lola Daviet reported that his daughter had not returned home since she left home to go to school. Father added that he had disappeared after she failed to return from school, a short distance from their home.

The female suspect was staying with her twenty-six-year-old older sister, who lives in the same flat block as the murdered girl and her parents.

The second suspect is the vehicle driver that moved the dead girl’s body.
