Bright Black, an international platform, will be established this year. The platform will enable the individuals to show a glimpse of their talent in the fashion industry to showcase their skills on many online challenges. After being selected in the online sessions, the participants will be entitled to perform in the finals in June; the Bright Black Grand Finale will be conducted in Dubai.
The participants can take part from all around the globe to spread their talent globally and become an idol in the fashion industry.
Although well-known fashion industry personalities will be performing as judges in the finale, they will declare the winner based on their performances in every four categories of the contest. The show winner will get the chance to work in the elite-group companies, including Makeup artists, Fashion designers, Fashion photographers, and Models.
Andrea and Alicia, two Latino women, organise the event from Argentina they have been residing in Dubai for the last eight years, and they have been collaborating for a few years, starting working to explore complementary markets and talent from all over the globe.
Andrea Laguna
Andrea Laguna belongs to a business and finance background; she is a singer from Colombia; she came to Dubai eight years ago via a contract to perform in different venues with musicians; later, she became a freelancer in Dubai.
Andrea was offered many opportunities throughout her career, and where she got the idea to explore the people who are searching for new offers to show their talent on the mass level.
While expressing their vision, Andrea said, “We want to give chances to skillful people who have not got the opportunity to demonstrate everything they can do in their industry.
“I have not resided in many countries, but even if I have only experienced a few, that kind of exposure transforms you completely. I see it in myself and almost everyone who goes through it. It opens your senses and network to evolve as a better version of yourself and continue chasing your dreams at the very least; living in different nations gives a fresh outlook on life. So with Alicia (my partner), we put together ties in fashion and experience in entertainment to open as many doors as possible for others too,” Andrea added.
Alicia Becerra
Alicia Becerra has been a businesswoman and a fashion designer in Dubai for the last four years; she is an Argentina national from San Luis and has developed her career in the Fashion industry and now been working under a fashion designer in Dubai for the last four years. Becerra is known for extending her efforts in helping the freshers who found difficulties in the field.
Alicia stated, “Bright Black Fashion is an excellent start for the participants’ careers. There is so much talent and variousness worldwide, and many people work hard but did not get to the right opportunity at the right time; all we want is to offer them that unique opportunity.”

The team will share all the instructions and eligibility criteria on the participants’ email address for the category they selected and begin the challenges for the selection team to start the process.”
Bright Black Latin America Tour:-
Bright Black Latin America Tour is a Fashion platform that will be held in the Latin American countries, showcasing local and international designers and will begin for the season in San Luis, Argentina, on May 7, 2022, in the convention centre La Punta.
A prominent and well-known designer of the fashion industry, Michael Cinco, will be the headline designer of the show in San Luis.
Michael Cinco is one of the biggest names in the fashion industry, who has attained twenty years of experience in fashion hub. Cinco is a Filipino couture designer that has dressed famous celebrities like Beyonce, Jennifer López, Sofía Vergara, Lady Gaga and Rihanna, alongside from the middle east like Salman Khan and brands like The Victor Closet as well as emerging designers from Latin America.
Further, Alicia asserted there is a new opportunity for those who are keen to grab such opportunities to shine and show their work.
Andrea explained the significant challenges while launching the platform, “The biggest challenges came with the situation of the world in the last couple of years being so closed because of the pandemic and the uncertainty that brought; but it is now transforming into a strength when people are eager to reactive their lives, and Bright Black Fashion comes in the perfect time to offer exactly that, a new beginning” Andrea said.
Andrea differentiates the BRIGHT BLACK FASHION from other TV platforms. Bright Black is an independent and unscripted show that has given the liberty to adopt and evolve organically with the industry and the audience regardless of script pressure, which tends to happen during TV or Screening platforms.
