North Wales Police shares guidelines to follow on ‘Welsh Language Rights Day’

North Wales Police extended warm wishes to the people of Wales on the occasion of ‘Welsh Language Rights Day‘ as the public establishments across Wales are holding a big campaign to spread awareness among the people about their language rights.

As per the information shared by the North Wales Police, Welsh Language Rights Day in Wales is celebrated on 7 December 2022.

North Wales Police shared information on their official Facebook: “Today, Wednesday, 7 December, is Welsh Language Rights Day, where public establishments across Wales are holding a big campaign to raise awareness of the public’s rights to use Welsh.”

In order to raise awareness among the people of North Wales, the North Wales Police Police also added that people across Wales can talk freely in Welsh over the phone.

People across Wales can also write atom by letter, social media or email in Welsh. They can get information in Welsh or English through the bilingual website of North Wales Police.

People across Wales can make a noise in Welsh or English if they see something wrong happening around them.

North Wales Police, while sharing information, added that they could apply for a job and go through the recruitment process through the medium Welsh.
