North Wales Police: PCSO Gill attends event of switching on lights at Dolgellau for upcoming Christmas

The Public Community Support Officer of North Wales, PCSO Gill, recently attended the event of switching on the lights at Dolgellau for the upcoming Christmas.

Markets of Dolgellau were decorated with fairy lights and beautiful pine trees, which the citizens decorated with various decorating items.

As per the information shared by the official Facebook page of the North Wales Police, PCSO Gill attended the event of turning on the lights at Dolgellau.

The force added that the force was thankful for good and improved weather during the event, and a good turnout was witnessed.

While sharing the photographs on the official Facebook page of North Wales Police, the page shared a caption: “PCSO Gill attended the switch on of the Dolgellau Christmas lights on Friday (25/11). Thankfully there was a vast improvement to the weather, and there was a good turnout at the event”

Recently The police force of North Wales has been conducting alcohol purchasing tests in the Gwynedd South district in recent weeks to ensure the safety and security of the residents.

As per the information shared by the official Facebook

 page of North Wales, the Police force assured that they are committed to keeping all the communities safe by ensuring that premises are checking ID in accordance with the law.

The South Wales Police have visited several licensed and off-license premises as part of their checks. Whilst the majority of businesses passed the tests; unfortunately, two of the test purchase sites failed to meet the requirements of the law.

The premises that failed will be spoken to by the licensing officer and revisited again in the next couple of months for further test purchasing.

The force added that these tests are completed to ensure all licensed and off-license premises are challenging those who look under 25 before selling them alcohol.
