Corey Taylor is an American musician, songwriter and actor. He was the founding member of Stone Sour but abandoned his own band to join Slipknot and act as their lead vocalist.
Taylor has appeared as a guest musician on the albums by Soulfuly, Apocalyptica, Damage Plan, steel panther, and code orange. Taylor also made a brief appearance in steel panthers singles ” Death to All but Metal, Eyes of a Panther and Asian Hooker.
In 2006, Taylor founded his own record company, Great Big Mouth Record. Taylor has produced two albums: Facecag’s self-titled album and Walls of Jericho’s Redemption.
On April 27, 2023, Taylor signed a new record deal with BMG Rights Management to distribute CMF2 under his own label.
