She bags Honorary Doctorate Degree from the ESGT University, Benin republic.
Maryam Ibrahim Shettima, famously and affectionately known to her own generation as Maryam Shetty, is a national leader of #WeBelieve, an APC Support Group that promotes the achievements of the Muhammadu Buhari administration. She has substantially impacted her country in the areas of academics, Politics, economics, empowerment, social maintenance, and psychological and physical domains of development.
She worked with Dala Orthopedic and Malam Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Kano before she went to London to further her education. She was on a medical team at the London Olympics, where she worked with top-tier athletes, including World Record Holder Jamaica’s Usain Bolt. She also worked with the State House Clinic at the Presidential Villa and Child Care and Wellness.
Politically, She was part of the 7-member APC Congress Committee that conducted the Party Congress in Delta State. She participated as a member of the Presidential Campaign Team Fixed Operation. She is now a member of the Youth and Women Presidential Campaign Team & Strategic Communication Team for the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) 2023.
