A man threw petrol bombs connected with fireworks at a new British immigration border force centre in the southern English port of Dover and then killed himself on Sunday
The aggressor, a white man, was seen wearing a striped sweatshirt; the man drove up to the centre in a white SEAT sports utility automobile. He got out and hurled three petrol bombs, one of which did not go off, the photographer said.
After the attack, the man tied an improvised noose around his neck attached to a metal pole and drove off, killing himself, the photographer said.
Officers established that two to three incendiary devices had been tossed into a Home Office immigration premises,” Kent Police added in one of its statements.
“One minor injury has been reported. The suspect has been identified and located. Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.”
Video posted on social media by a News journalist showed staff putting out a small fire on the centre’s exterior wall.
