London: 36 year old man collapsed to death while running in Marathon

The thirty-six-year-old man collapsed to death during participating in the London Marathon.

The organizers of the London Marathon confirmed that the man who died while running is from south-east England and became unwell between miles 23 and 24 of the 26.2-mile event.

Soon after, the collapsing incident happened during the London Marathon ambulance, and medical treatment was provided to the thirty-six-year-old man. The medical treatment was offered to the man within three minutes.

The Marathon runner was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead after the incident.

During an interview, the London marathon organizers expressed deep condolences for this horrific incident. The organizers prayed for the man and said that their thoughts were with the family and whoever ever affected due to the sudden death of the man.

The organization said his relatives had requested privacy at this time, adding, “No further details will be released following their wishes.

The organizers added, “The cause of death will be established later through a medical examination.”

The event organizers said: “Everyone involved in the organization of the London Marathon would like to express heartfelt comfortings to his family and friends. The family has requested privacy, and no further details will be released following their wishes. The cause of death will be established later through a medical examination.”

More than 40,000 people participated in the 26.2-mile race between Greenwich in south London and the Mall.

On Sunday, 38,156 by 5 pm, people had passed beneath the new digital finish gantry after 40,927 started the event.

Thousands more joined by completing their marathon challenge virtually in a 24-hour window.
