Liverpool Killing: Police investigates the suspects for murder of nine-year-old

Police are investigating the killing of the nine-year-old little girl from Liverpool who was shot dead due to severe injury in her chest. Family of dead little girl given names of two suspects on Tuesday 23 August 2022.

On Monday night Olivia Pratt-Korbel was shot dead by a masked attacker in the Dovecot area of the city.

Police said that the gunman forcefully entered the home while following another man and brutally shot nine-year-old Olivia in her chest while hiding behind her mother. Olivia’s mother was shot at her wrist.

The masked gunman also shot the man who was being chased. He was taken to the hospital soon after the incident. He is now in stable condition. According to doctors, his injuries are not life-threatening.

The gunman has not been arrested yet, says the detectives.

Mother of nine year old had a severe injury in her wrist due to a gunshot, and now she is recovering in another Hospital.

Police said that the family of dead little girl Olivia had no connection with both of the men.

During a Press Conference on Tuesday, Merseyside Police said that a man aged around thirty-five ran into Olivia’s home. The man was masked and had a shotgun. When Kobel opened the door, Nine-year-old Olivia was brutally shot in her chest, leaving her mother injured in her wrist.

Before leaving gunman shot twice in the gaps of the doors and ran away. The mother of a nine-year-old, along with Olivia, was taken to the hospital soon after the incident.

Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said that the murder of a nine-year-old at Kingsheath Avenue at about 22:00 BST is shocking and appalling.

In addition, Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said that she wants to retake this opportunity to appeal to anybody who knows who is responsible for this attack to please come forward and give us those names.
