British Fashion Council Member Jonathan Anderson launched his eponymous brand JW Anderson in 2008, with a focus on men’s and womenswear; the brand has created a unique aesthetic reinterpreting traditional definitions of gender.
Whilst also at the front of LOEWE, Anderson has modernized the Spanish luxury house, shifting the brand’s direction towards a younger audience while staying true to the label’s heritage.
His undeniable talent has awarded him with numerous accolades, including the award for Emerging Talent, Ready-to-Wear at Fashion Awards 2012, and Designer of the Year, in both Womenswear and Menswear categories, at Fashion Awards 2015, being the first label ever to be the recipient of both awards. At this year’s Fashion Awards, he is nominated for Designer of the Year.
The British Fashion Council strengthens British Fashion in the global economy as a leader in responsible, creative businesses through championing diversity and building and inviting the industry network to accelerate a successful circular fashion economy.
The British Fashion Council recently added an update on the official Facebook page that this year the Fashion Awards 2022 were presented by Diet Coke, and ERDEM was nominated for Independent British Brand.
Diet Coke will present the Fashion Awards 2022. The organization will work together to evolve #TFA 2022 as a global entertainment platform, celebrating Fashion’s role at the intersection of culture.
This year marks Diet Coke’s 40th anniversary and the appointment of global icon and style visionary Kate Moss, who is taking the helm as Creative Director of the brand.
“Diet Coke is synonymous with fashion, design, and style, and its heritage of collaborating with some of the world’s leading fashion houses and creators is impressive.” @CarolineRush, CEO, British Fashion Council.
