World famous Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari is turning 75 years old this year. On this significant occasion, the manufacturers will celebrate the big day at Autoworld, located in Brussels’ historic Parc du Cinquantenaire.

Starting from 23 September to 4 December, an exhibition named in Italian “75 Anni di Ferrari” which means 75 years of Ferrari, will showcase fifteen rare and classic Ferrari models.

The production of the Internationally renowned Italian sports car started in the year 1947. The beautiful sports car is known for its speed and luxury.

On the 75th anniversary, the brand intends to pay special public respect to the company’s most symbolic vehicles, each with the brand’s history.

The models that will be on display while celebrating the 75th anniversary of the brand include the Dino 206, Daytona Michelotti, 195 Inter Ghia, 500 Superfast, 250 GT Spyder LWB, and the 308 GTS.

This will be very informative for the visitors, and they will be able to learn about the glorious history of the Italian brand Ferrari. The visitors will understand the meaning behind the Prancing horse logo on the cars.

The Italian sports car Ferrari logo was inspired by Italian pilot Francsco Baracca, who used a similar symbol on his biplane during the First World War.

In turn, they took the logo from Piemonte Reale’s second cavalry regiment during his time in the army before the war.

Enzo Ferrari, the father of the Italian car brand, took inspiration from Baracca for his new car company while he was a race driver for Alfa Romeo.

On Belgian soil, other anniversaries will also be commemorated. Jacques Swaters, a race car driver, was the Ferrari’s first authorised importer into Belgium and Europe seventy years ago.

It was, behind the United States, the second-largest importer of Ferrari vehicles ever.
