While announcing the High Peak Constituency League in the United Kingdom, MP Robert, on his official social media handle, urged the audience and said, “If you love football as much as I do and want to help raise money for mental health, then I have the competition for you.”

MP Robert also emphasised the major causes of Mental Health and how it affects people’s lives. He added that Suicide is still the biggest killer of men under 45, and to combat this, they aim to reduce the stigma attached to men talking openly about thoughts and feelings. Mantell provides free, confidential circles for men (18+) to talk in a safe and confidential space, free from advice and judgement.

Further, he also informed the audience to make donations; if they’re interested, they can donate £5 to participate in the league and compete over a football season against other High Peak residents, with the proceeds going to Mentell.

The Donations can be made at: https://www.justgiving.com/…/high-peak-fantasy-football…

After respective donations, the people will be sent a link and code to join the league.

The manager with the most points at the end of the season will be crowned the High Peak Fantasy Football Champion. They will also win a special bottle of House of Commons Whisky.

He also remarked Mental health is an issue close to his heart. He shared that Setting up a Fantasy Football League for High Peak residents will be a fun way to raise money and awareness of Mentell’s extraordinary work.

He also expressed his hope that the fundraising can help challenge the stigma surrounding mental health while supporting a charity that supports those who have suffered in silence for too long.

“Please share this with anyone who might be interested.

I look forward to taking on High Peak residents at Fantasy Football soon!” he urged.
