Glasgow: Consul General of Pakistan Consulate visits University of West Scotland

Consul General of Pakistan Consulate in Glasgow, Syed Zahid Raza, recently visited the University of the West of Scotland and met with the visiting delegation of Pakistani universities.

d the Islamia University of Bahawalpur were in Glasgow last week to work on the SAFE-RH Project in the field of rural health in Pakistan in collaboration with Dr Naeem Ramzan from UWS.

The overall objective of SAFE-RH is to develop a Smart Healthcare system in Pakistan, especially in rural areas. 

It will help reduce infant and mother mortality rates and provide expert opinion and health services to monitor old-aged patients.

The team presented their work and demonstrated how patients’ vital signs would be captured through modern techniques and equipment. The project is expected to bring considerable benefits to the field of maternal health, child care and epidemics in Pakistan.

The CG also met the Vice Principal, Prof. James Miller and faculty members of UWS. 

The organization also wished Dr Naeem Ramzan, the Pakistani universities, and the team involved the best of luck in their work.

Recently the Pakistan Consulate in Glasgow announced organizing a virtual meeting with community members and visitors on Thursday, 08 December 2022, at 5:00 PM via Zoom and named the meeting session E-Kachehri.

Consul General of the Pakistan Consulate in Glasgow, Syed Zahid Raza, invited the members of the general public to participate in a virtual meeting called “E-Kachehri” on 8 December to raise complaints or give feedback during the zoom call.

Recently the Pakistan Consulate in Glasgow shared an update regarding the online meeting “E Kachehri” through their official Facebook account.

As per the information shared by the official Facebook page of the organization, The organization encourages the members of society or the general public to participate in this event so everyone may raise any complaints, grievances, or feedback which will improve services provided by the Consulate of Pakistan Glasgow.

During the E meeting, Consul General will brief about the activities of the Consulate and the government’s initiatives to facilitate overseas Pakistanis. The public may like to share their queries in advance for a better response.
