France lifts all its travel restrictions from the United States. Various countries like Egypt, Brazil, and almost entire African states can now reach France without any obligation of entry rules as France has scrapped them all.
SchengenVisaInfo.com reports that France green lists all EU/Schengen Area countries apart from recently added countries and several other non-EU countries.
Restriction free entry applies to all the passengers coming from the United States as it is added to the green list, the French Ministry of Interior emphasizes.
The French Ministry of Interior asserted that no restriction should apply while entering metropolitan France from a green list country or territory. No obligation is required for travellers to France,” the French Ministry of Interior states.
Fully vaccinated passengers arriving from the green list countries are not deemed to undergo any obligation of entry rules as long as they present a valid vaccination pass.
Only vaccination certificates indicating completion of the primary vaccination within the past nine months are considered valid in France with a single dose of the vaccine. Vaccination passes showing vaccination with a booster shot are also accepted.
Arrivals from the green list states can also enter France for travel if they are not fully vaccinated. Besides this, they are expected to present a PCR or rapid antigen test taken recently.
“For unvaccinated travellers, the obligation to present a negative test to travel to France remains, but the measures on arrival (such as test, isolation) are lifted when they come from countries on the “green” list, characterized by a moderate circulation of the virus,” the Ministry highlighted.
