Ernest Hilaire attends Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association’s Luncheon

Castries, Saint Lucia: Ernest Hiliare- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, attended the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA) Chef’s Table Luncheon at the Sandals Grande Ballroom.

Ernest Hilaire took to Facebook, shared glimpses of the Luncheon and engaged with the stakeholders of the tourism industry. He said that the Luncheon provided a great opportunity for them to discuss the vision of the government of Saint Lucia for tourism.

The event also featured a discussion on the airlift sector of the country and stated that the agencies asked to pertain to the sector. He took to Facebook and said, “Today, I attended the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA) Chef’s Table Luncheon at the Sandals Grande Ballroom.”

Ernest Hilaire also delivered the keynote address on various matters of concern associated with the Tourism Industry. He also highlighted the plans for the Tourism sector of the country for the upliftment of the sector.

Ernest Hilaire said, “I had the opportunity to provide some brief remarks on regarding key milestones within our Tourism Industry as well provide a vision for where the sector is heading. Present at the Luncheon were representatives from the large and boutique hotel sector along with staff from the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) and Saint Lucia Air and Seaports Authority (SLASPA). ”

Presentations were also made by the mentioned agencies as it pertained to airlift into Saint Lucia, destination marketing and the investment and business climate. Ernest Hilaire asserted that the tourism sector is growing and they will continue to ensure that it becomes a positive sum equation for the benefit of all Saint Lucians.

The citizens of Saint Lucia also extended gratitude to the government of Saint Lucia for their efforts in the upliftment of the Tourism Sector. One of the users named Madeleine Flavius Flavius added,”Thank you for sharing!!! You’re and your team are doing amazing job with the tourism industry keep it up,”
