Saint Lucia: Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire asked Saint Lucians to book their slots for Business Planning Training. The training will be held from May 2 to 19 in Castries and Vieux Fort.
The Deputy PM added that participants could get quality for a EC$2000 grant after applying. “Get professional support to develop a comprehensive Business Plan tailored to your specific needs. May 2nd-19th in Castries and Vieux Fort” added Ernest Hilaire. The grant will be provided to every participant who successfully completes the training.
The Youth Economy Agency in Saint Lucia is hosting the Business Planning Training. It will provide in-person interactive training to 100 Saint Lucians under an MOU – Memorandum of Understanding with the Republic of China (Taiwan) Technical Mission. Over the period of three weeks, participants will learn how to design an effective business plan.
The training will include all the relevant knowledge related to business operations, timeline, strategy, finance, competitor, marketing, goals, team and much more.
After the classroom sessions, participants will get to prepare a business plan of their own. Notably, the participants will be able to choose either morning or afternoon sessions. The Morning Sessions will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., while the Afternoon Sessions will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Youth Economy Agency will provide support for meals and transportation. The government of Saint Lucia is taking all the steps to motivate and engage youth to participate in extra-curricular activities. Such activities develop their mental health, and they use the skills in the future.
Such initiatives are launched and supported by the government of Saint Lucia as they want to see the youth of the country thrive in every field and sector.
