Dominica: Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit urged his social media community to join the groundbreaking Digital Grant Initiative live session today (Monday), December 11, 2023.
He encouraged people to tune into the live session at 10 am to learn how a business startup and existing business would bring benefits to them.

Reportedly, the Innovation Grant Launch is a groundbreaking initiative by the Ministry of Public Works, Public Utilities and Digital Economy.
This Initiative came under as a Caribbean Island Transformation Project.
This Initiative empowers entrepreneurs to propel their businesses into the digital age, fostering innovation, resilience, and sustainability. The funds provided can catalyze businesses to pivot, adapt, and thrive in an increasingly digitalized economy.
The Caribbean Digital Transformation project is committed to fostering technological advancements across the region. By supporting initiatives like the digital grant, the project aims to contribute to the growth and sustainability of businesses in the Caribbean.
It has been taken to promote and boost the nation’s economy. Under this, several enhancements were addressed these include:-
- Unlock up to XCD 27,000 in Funding
- Tailored financing for startups and existing businesses
- Funding based on business category and verified invoices
- Take the first step in your digital journey
