Dominica: PM Roosevelt Skerrit to address citizens through press conference on Monday

The Prime Minister of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, is all set to host a press conference on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 11 am at the Ministry of Finance Conference Room. During the meeting, PM Skerrit will be joined by Dr Vince Henderson – the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business, Trade and Energy Minister, who is also the Parliamentary Representative of the constituency of Grand Bay.

The update was shared by Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and the government of Dominica on their official Facebook accounts. Both ministers will have discussions related to significant national interest topics, which will contribute to the growth and development of the nation.

While inviting the citizens of Dominica to join the press conference, PM Skerrit said, “Greetings. At this Monday’s press conference, I will be joined by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, International Business, Trade and Energy, Dr Vince Henderson. Please tune in as I address matters of national interest and take questions from the press.”

As per the information provided by the government of Dominica, the press conference will be broadcasted live on the social media pages of the government of Dominica – GIS Dominica as well as Prime Minister of Dominica – Dr Roosevelt Skerrit.

Several nationals of the country showed their keen interest in joining the conference and assured that they would tune in to watch the PM and Minister of Foreign Affairs addressing issues of national concern.

“Hoping you continue to take care of the country and myself all along the way,” wrote another user named Mathias Dejean.

It is expected that Prime Minister Skerrit and Dr Vince Henderson will be discussing issues related to foreign matters and international businesses, including trade and investments. They will also take other important concerns revolving across Dominica.
