Dominica: Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit announced the update of 73 deserving families to be awarded the most wonderful Christmas gift, hurricane resilient home on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. This will be provided under Dominica’s Housing Recovery Project.
The project has been recently launched by the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica in collaboration with the World Bank.
As per Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, this collaboration will help the citizens living in wooden houses with reside in concrete houses.
He took the information to his official Facebook handle. The information was recently shared by the Minister of Housing, Land and Urban Development, Melissa Skerrit.
The information stated, “Next week, 73 deserving families will be given the most wonderful Christmas gift: the keys to their new hurricane-resilient home.”
